Pittsburgh Steelers 5-0 for the First Time Since 78'

The Steelers are now 5-0, leading the AFC North, for the first time since 1978. After their win against the Philadelphia Eagles 38-29, word spread as the Steelers were 4-0 for the first time since 1979. Going into their game against the Cleveland Browns that put them at 5-0, they were without wide receiver Dionte Johnson, guard David DeCastro and center Mike Pouncey. Even with those losses on the team, they beat the Browns 38-7 to end the Browns 4 game winning streak against the Steelers.

The Steelers will continue playing every week for the rest of the regular season, after having to take a forced by-week when they were supposed to play the Titans who had an abundant amount of COVID-19 cases. This game was rescheduled for October 25th, and is their next game after coming off of the 5-0 streak they are on.

Their next 5 games are against the 5-0 Titans, 5-1 Ravens, 2-4 Cowboys, 1-4-1 Bengals and 1-5 Jaguars. Looking to next week against the Titans, the Steelers don't have Devon Bush due to injury. He is one of their more diverse players, and a defensive play caller for the team. While they may be 5-0 now, the Steelers need to come together as a team and focus on the next challenge ahead of them.
