Bryson DeChambeau To Get Well-Deserved Criticism After Poor Master's Performance

Simply put: Bryson DeChambeau choked at the Master's real bad.

This years U.S. Open winner was looking to win back-to-back majors last weekend at the Master's. From the things he had said early during Master's week and the changes he has made to his game it seemed like it was DeChambeau's tournament to lose.

But the question going into Saturday was not "will Bryson be getting the green jacket?" but rather "Is Bryson even going to make the cut to play this weekend?"

Bryson made a fool of himself this Master's week. He had said that Augusta National Golf Course was "a par 67" for him and it was believed that he would be outplaying everyone as he was toying around with a close to illegal 48 inch driver. But Bryson was missing fairways left and right and not making easy putts. It was common to see DeChambeau hitting punch outs out of the pine straw at Augusta this week.

Not only is DeChambeau going to receive numerous amounts of criticism for his play this weekend but other golfers on the PGA have criticized him for his method of bulking up to win more tournaments. Many knew that if DeChambeau did indeed use that 48 inch driver which he did on Thursday that it would be hard for him to control where his shots were going and boy were they right.

After barely making the cut in round two Friday, Bryson said that he just wasn't feeling right and felt dizzy. Well Bryson, if you didn't make Augusta National look like a mini-golf course in your practice rounds and if you didn't say the course was a par-67, then people would believe those excuses. If you are going to say those things you best back it up.

Bryson's performance at the Master's only adds more hate for the Bryson haters to hate on. After all, he has had his meltdowns with PGA officials and cameramen. I wonder what Brooks Koepka has to say. I can only imagine Bryson's performance will give Koepka a huge advantage in their feud.
