Colts Punter Undergoing A Tough Setback

 

The Indianapolis Colt's punter Rigoberto Sanchez will undergo a surgery on Tuesday because of a cancerous tumor found in his body. Doctors have said that they caught the tumor just in time before it spread to his entire body. 

In an Instagram post on Monday, he made it known to his fans what was happening and what was found. Sanchez himself said, “It’s always God’s plan, and it will always be bigger than my plans,” Sanchez wrote on Instagram. “I know that it will not be an easy bump in the road, but I know I have my amazing wife supporting me, along with family, coaches and friends reaching out.”

While this is a setback for Sanchez and the rest of his 20-21 NFL season, it is the recovery process that is going to prove that he is a strong individual.
