Dustin Johnson Wins in Record Fashion

Dustin Johnson won the Masters this weekend in dominant fashion setting a new course record with -20. The world number one capped off his already impressive year with his first ever Masters victory.

It was all smiles for Johnson as he tapped in for par on 18 and realized his great accomplishment. There to award him with his jacket was none other than golf great, and reigning champion, Tiger Woods.

The runner up, Sungjae Im, was a whole five strokes away from catching him. Johnson's dominant run started in the first round and continued throughout the entire tournament.

He looked calm and comfortable throughout the entire weekend making very few mistakes. When he did mess up, like the back to back bogeys on 4 and 5 on Sunday, he quickly redeemed himself making 5 more birdies to close out his round.

Those bogeys were his first in the front nine for Johnson in the entire tournament. He played near flawless golf with a record breaking score to prove it.

He only had four bogeys in the entire tournament. His 20 total birdies and two eagles made up for those quite easily.

Johnson has three other top 10 finishes this year and has looked great all year long. Though his career is long from over and he has a ton of momentum going into next year.

The next Master's will be played on April 8-11, 2021. There Johnson will look to protect his title as Masters champion for the first time since Tiger in 2002.
