This seasons Pro Bowl going virtual, to be played on Madden 21
The NFL has recently opened the month-long fan voting for the very first virtual Pro Bowl. Teams and players who make the Super Bowl will be able to be featured since they don't have to travel and play in real life.
On December 18, players and coaches will cast their votes for the virtual version of this years Pro Bowl. 88 players will be selected, 44 from each conference.
The Pro Bowl week will include Madden matchups between current and former players, celebrities, and even Madden streamers using the two Pro Bowl teams. Players in the Pro Bowl will also play in a Madden Pro Bowl.
The game was originally scheduled for January 31 in Las Vegas, but obviously cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the first time since 1949 the Pro Bowl has been cancelled.
Owners also voted to hold the 2022 Pro Bowl in Las Vegas if they are able to play.
